Heather Locklear Gets Her Cougar On

Lifetime has tapped Heather Locklear — the star of its most-watched original movie ever, Nora Robert's Angels Fall — for a holiday-themed pic based on the Jane Porter novel Flirting with 40. In it, TV's former Sammy "No Man Too Old" Jo will play a divorced mother of two who enters into an unexpected romance with a much younger man.

Flirting with 40 is eyed for a ~~May-~~December premiere.

I'm trying to think of a current show that Heather could do a multi-episode arc. She was terrific on Scrubs and Boston Legal. Maybe Dirty Sexy Money, but that might be too spot on. My Name is Earl perhaps as Joy's classy, upscale sister? I know Joy already has a half sister but she could have another one. Brothers and Sisters as Holly's sister?

Flirting With 40? People around these parts darn near lost their minds when Elizabeth Berkley was cast out of her age bracket. I expect rioting in the streets at the notion of Locklear as a woman flirting with 40. She's just about beating down 50 with a sledgehammer.
