To help soothe the sting of not having a new Big Love episode to watch until "early 2009," HBO is offering frustrated fans of the acclaimed series an olive branch. Or is it an o-Love branch?

Starting July 5, at 8 pm/ET, the cabler's HBO2 channel will present the first 24 episodes of Big Love, in order, with a new one arriving each Saturday night. — Matt Mitovich

considering the amount of time that has passed between the season, Big Love mgmt. better make sure that the new episodes keep the viewers glued to the sets. otherwise, the time away will make it very easy for the once loyal viewers to stay away.

another thing, how come it was easy for other shows to step up to plate after the writers strike?

X-(I am sooo angry at HBO right now! how dare they make us wait until NEXT YEAR!!! I am tempted to cancel my subscritption to their network until i get more Big Love from them. is there a way to contact them and let them know just how mad i am? a few months ago I went and rewatched all of the Big Love eps to date so that I would be ready for it this summer only to find out it was being pushed until fall, ok ok, so the writers strike delayed them somewhat...but until NEXT YEAR? A season of Big Love is only 12 episodes long...so how long can it really take to make them and get them on the air? They don't have to be done with the season in order to air the ones they already have. And last season ended in AUGUST, way before the writers strike even started! They had better add a few episodes to season 3 to make up for the extremely LONG wait we are suffering through or they may just lose some very put off fans.]<img border=">
