Did you forget about him being in the Matrix? He was in Reloaded and Revolutions!

Great actor. I hope this cast includes other ethnicities as well.
But why are we hearing about this character now? He wasn't included in the list of main characters a few months ago.
Does this mean that he'll be on recurring status or that the cast is rapidly changing as Joss and the other writers continue to develop the show?

"Boyd" is mentioned in Ausiello's Who's Who list, as Echo's "handler." - MWM

And, add "future portrayer of Barack Obama" in some biopic, I'm telling ya. Without knowing if he has comedic chops, he was my candidate for SNL's search for Obama.
Anyway, good for him, he's a good actor. Hope Fox sticks with this one from Whedon this time and doesn't screw it up too badly: <fake-cough> Firefly </fake cough>.

Tricky3000Like you totally read my mind on the Obama resemblance and him playing Barack on SNL! They could be brothers practically twins.I'm happy to know he will be working again I don't know anything about Dollhouse but I may watch because of Harry. I was so disappointed in how his character was handled on 24.

One of many disappointments with 24, Season 6. Yet--like the lab rat to the pellet dispenser despite the random shocks--I watched every episode.

On 24:
Great actor, great character, great storyline, but...
...yeah, it went nowhere.
It was just one big red-herring.
Strange. Like the writers suddenly didn't know what to do with it anymore, so it just vanished between episodes without impacting on anything else.
Disappointing...

Whedonesque.com has Joss (or someone claiming to be Joss, although the site seems to have a good track record) confirming Amy Acker as Dr. Claire Saunders and Miracle Laurie as November. Can anyone in the TV Guide News department confirm?

Yeah, when I saw this post, my first thought was, "When did Obama become an actor?" What a resemblance!!

Purple "Joss" on Whedonesque IS the real Joss--only Joss Whedon has the password for his account, so anything with a the Purple Joss name is legit. Ergo we're getting Amy Acker and Eliza Dushku together on a Whedon show. I feel like swooning, then I realized I'm neither a woman nor wearing a 17th century corset (I only wear those on special occasions).

Thanks, jahadix. I felt pretty secure, but I always try to stay on the safe side when attributing breaking news.

YEP - pretty much sums up season 6....but I also watched every episode out of Jack loyalty and will watch all of season 7. (Unless Jack becomes a kinder, gentler wimp - then I'm outa here!)

Yep - purple Joss on Whedonesque is legit.
In the same post, Joss also dropped that they are doing a script read-through today!
