Hannah Montana Concert Now Hitting TV in 3-D and HD

As if being able to watch Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds on your television in 3-D wasn't enough, Starz has announced that it will be offering the concert pic in high-definition, as well.

Starz HD on Demand will unspool the razor-sharp, extra-dimensional edit on Sunday, July 27 — the day after Disney Channel hosts the broadcast premiere of the (merely standard-def) movie. Either way, expect DVRs across America to be anxiously programmed and teens and tweens everywhere to be rockin' out in front of their plasmas.

Got my TV Guide in mail today, but no 3D glasses!!! You mean I have to buy one on the news stand???

Same here. I received my TV Guide yesterday and there was no 3D glasses. Just a big full page ad about the concert in 3D and an article on Miley. AAARRRGGHHHH!!!! And I really don't want to have to buy a double issue on the stands at full price. DF

I didn't get the 3D glasses either. The subscription and renewal cards sure were in there. The magazine needs to be in a plastic envelope.

Sorry, Tv Guide. I just want to help other Miley Lovers that want to watch the move in 3D.
You can get the glasses for
FREE
at Walmart stores.
As of today, July, 19, 2008, (Saturday), they had plenty. Just don't be selfish and greedy. Think of others who may need them, take only what you need and what you will use, remember Karma can be a Bit__!!
Call first to be sure if they still have the glasses and where in the store they keep them and good luck.
I know we all will enjoy the movie.

Is the high definition version in 3D? Will the July 26 at 8 PM showing be in HD? It is on DirecTV channel 290 which is a HD channel.

My 5 year old daughter was disappointed when she didn't receive the 3-D glasses in the TV guide we got in the mail, so I told her not to worry she would be able to see the concert anyway, but she was heartbroken when she watched the concert and the picture was fuzzy. It made me dizzy. TV guide needs to step up to the plate and mail the thousands of subscribers who have children that are Hanna Montana fans. If you could only get the glasses on the newsstand, what are the advantages to being a subscriber ?
