American Idol Carrie Underwood tells TV's Extra that she and Chace Crawford snuffed their months-old romance through a series of text messages, claiming, "It was completely mutual. It just didn't work... and we both knew it. No hard feelings whatsoever." Underwood goes on to say that she hasn't talked to Chace "in a while, but I don't dislike him."
Spoke too soon? The New York Post's Page Six reports that Crawford has quickly moved on, and was spied "flirting heavily" with new Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg on Saturday at the SoHo hot spot Upstairs. "They were all over each other," an onlooker tells the tab. — MWM
