A Few Good Watchmen: Comic-book Film Is Cast

Billy Crudup, Patrick Wilson and Matthew Goode are among those on board as The Watchmen in Zack Snyder's adaptation of the iconic comic book, Variety reports. Crudup will play Dr. Manhattan, Wilson is Night Owl and Goode is Ozymandias, while Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jackie Earle Haley and Malin Akerman round out the cast as Comedian, Rorschach and Silk Spectre.

The film will use a green-screen technique similar to what Snyder used for 300, and also reap similar greenbacks.

love JDM, but I've seen better mug shots. Couldn't we find a better picture?

Jeffrey Dean Morgan AND Billy Crudup? Whoa, I'd like to be a fly on the wall if those two have any scenes together.

SB: Isn't Billy Crudup the father of Mary Louise Parker's son? Bet they could swap stories.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan AND Billy Crudup? Whoa, I'd like to be a fly on the wall if those two have any scenes together. Aside from the few team meeting scenes, I don't recall them having many scenes together in the comics. Dr. Manhattan's probably going to be CG throughout the movie anyway.
