Friday Night Lights Adds 24 Fave, Tree Hill Hottie

Shall we assume that Agent Pearce ultimately whisked Martha Logan away to the Mount Airy Lodge for some good lovin'? Glenn Morshower, who played 24 fans' favoritest Secret Serviceman, is joining Friday Night Lights this season as Landry's father, a state champion Panthers alum turned local lawman.

Also according to the Reporter, One Tree Hill alum Daniella Alonso is coming on board as the in-home nurse who will help Zach care for his Alzheimer's-afflicted grandmother. And yet I have to think that's not all she'll help da boy with.

Aaron! That news totally makes my day. I really loved Glenn on 24 and he seems like the perfect person to play Landry's dad.

Good for Glenn Morshower, I've seen him in little roles here and there whether on tv or the movies. Glad to see him finally getting his dues on a great show.

Best casting news ever! I loved Glen Morshower as Agent Pierce, and he looks just like Landry. I can't wait for FNL to get back on the air!

Oh, how I miss my favorite Secret Service Agent. Aaron rocked!!

24's loss is FNL's gain.

Great casting! I loved him on 24, and he certainly looks like he could be Landry's dad. Very nice fit.

It really is spot-on, isn't it?! I'm so happy for him. He served his country well. (Almost too well.)

I very much agree with Jefferson01. They could so easily pass as father/son. This is happy news!

Here's another vote for Glenn Morshower being cast as Landry's dad on FNL, and as a lawman no less. Perfect all around.
