A Freshly Dirty Dozen, and More Movie News
Per Variety, Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand, Elektra) is penning a remake of The Dirty Dozen for Warner Bros.... Paramount's plan to extend Angelina Jolie's current run in theaters involves cutting the number of screens showing A Mighty Heart in half, a tactic successfully employed with Borat last fall.... Hoping to quell accusations that the country has snubbed the production of Tom Cruise's Valkyrie due to his religious beliefs, the German Federal Film Fund has ponied up $6.5 million toward the drama's $80 million tab.
