Fox's Nightmares Continues as One of the CW's Ends

Kitchen Nightmares' chef, Gordan Ramsay by Eric Leibowitz/Fox
Your favorite local eatery has been warned. Fox has placed its order for a second season of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, which in its freshman run has improved on its time slot's year-ago delivery by 21 percent in key demos.

Conversely, The CW has given the hook to Online Nation. The "what's hot on this Internet thing" series has been drawing roughly the population of the last Mitovich family reunion. Its Sundays-at-7:30 pm slot will be filled with encores of Aliens in America.

Good news about Aliens in America being rerun to Sundays at 7:30. I can watch it then, instead of having to decide between it and Chuck. (Not everyone has a DVR or TiVo.)

Oh, NOW they put Aliens in America where I might be able to watch it. If they're smart, they'll start this Sunday with episode 1...

Oh good. Then maybe I can actually watch Aliens in America. I've heard nothing but good things.

Is Nightmares planning to leave New York for any episodes? So far every episode has been in the New York area, making it look like they're doing this on the cheap - no travelling, etc.

There must be hundreds of restaurants out there across the country that would make juicy stories for the show, not just ones in NYC.

Hooray for Aliens in America airing where I'll be able to see it! Monday nights for me are too full to catch it there, and I'll second the hope that they start with the first episode.

I'm glad Fox picked up a 2nd season. Kitchen Nightmares is very entertaining, especially with all the drama they cook up. It's always fun to see what would Ramsay do to turn the restaurants around.
