Hank Hill will be king for at least one more season. Fox has ordered a 13th season of King of the Hill (Sunday at 8:30 pm/ET, Fox), making the animated show one of the longest-running comedies currently in prime time.

Mike Judge stars as the voice of Hank, who, along with his wife, Peggy (Kathy Najimy), live in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas, with their son Bobby (Pamela Adlon) and newly married niece Luanne (Brittany Murphy.) — J.R. Whalen

While South Park and Family Guy generate buzz and The Simpsons inspires the never-ending debate over whether it's as good as it used to be, King Of The Hill chugs along like the little engine that does!

Every year around this time, I start to get a little sad because I think it might be the last season of KOTH. I'm delighted to read this news today.

King Of The Hill often surprises me by not falling into the sitcom formula or by not taking the tried and true plots and putting a different spin on them. This show is an original, but it's original in such an understated way, it flies under the radar of most people.

Yay, KOTH!!! Who else is going to take on the controversial stands on important issues such as low-flow toilets or Organic foods!? ;)

Still the best and funniest half hour comedy on television about a family. Tom Petty must be pretty happy!

This is good. I also love KOTH. Dale is my all time favorite, I wonder if he will ever find out the truth about Joseph being John Redcorns son. He always comes so close, but the idiot can't figure it out.

Yeah, :^O I love that, Lizzybelle! Dale sees conspiracies under every rock, but he can't see the biggest one right under his own roof! Classic!

Yes, that was very funny! There's so much I love about this show. Peggy is so clueless so often! Poor Bill. Poor, poor Bill. And Bobby is a hoot! I love the episodes when Hank goes from a simmer to a slow-burn over something (or several things) the people in his life do. It's so great that we get another year of this! :)
