Fox and Reno 911's Niecy Nash to Open Inn

Fox is all-in when it comes to The Inn, a comedy pilot it awarded a green light on Tuesday.

Originally picked up late last year, the series stars Reno 911's Niecy Nash, was penned by Arrested Development's Abraham Higginbotham, and is described as "Upstairs/Downstairs set at a hip New York hotel."

Um, a hip New York hotel described as The Inn? The only inn I know around here is Ye Olde Waverly — and I'm pretty sure it's a pub. — MWM

Not only is Niecy damned funny in Reno 911, she is an excellent host of Style Network's Clean House. Probably the best of the home redecorating shows.

Congrats to Niecy!!

Sounds interesting, and I agree....Niecy is HILARIOUS! But I suspect it might be a good idea to move "The Inn" out of NYC. Somewhere in the South would be better than yet another show about New York. Wonder if Niecy will bring her prosthetic booty to the new show.

I think there's a place called "The Broadway Inn" right across the street from the Paramount Hotel. It's a cozy little b&b. Not exactly chic but definitely an inn.

Maybe she can pick up where Whoopi Goldberg's show left off. But Staley's right. Why not put it in Atlanta or Houston? Surely these places have a hip hotel or two.

Does this mean the end of her stint on Reno 911 or is the show going away completely?
