Family Ties Son Arrested for Assault
Brian Bonsall, who played Andy Keaton in Family Ties, was arrested Wednesday on charges of assaulting his girlfriend, the AP reports. Bonsall, 25, is being held in the Boulder County jail on charges of second-degree assault and false imprisonment after his girlfriend told police he poured an alcoholic drink on her face while she slept, put her in a choke hold and threw her onto a bed when she tried to leave. Bonsall has unsuccessfully argued self-defense.
What would we do, baby, without bail?

What's up with the press release for the first reply post?
Back to the news item. Brian also played Worf's son Alexander on Star Trek TNG. I guess the honourable Klingon code didn't rub off on him - or maybe he it rubbed off too much and he thought this was four play?

Actually, it's the Andorians on Star Trek that require four different sexes for mating. So with two males and two females in each reproductive group, that's a lot of four-play foreplay!

I think I've figured out why that Invader Zim release is up at the top:
Invader Zim featured the voice of Mo Collins, who was in Curb Your Enthusiasm, which also features Richard Kind, who was also on Mad About You, which once guest-starred Kevin Bacon, who was in Tremors with Michael Gross, who was in Family Ties with Brian Bonsall!
Six Degrees Of Brian Bonsall!
(whew)
...and before you all reply that Michael J Fox could fit in there between Richard Kind (Spin City) and Michael Gross (Family Ties), if I went that route, I wouldn't have been able to work Kevin Bacon into the lineup!

May I just say, being, like, you know after the time of family ties, but I just finished the first season of Family Ties on DVD, and I saw that, I was like, "Wait? Brian Bonsall? Andy? Andy Keaton?" And then I went through them in my head...alex, mallory, jennifer...steven, elyse...hmmmm. I don't believe I know this andy keaton.

In the third season (I believe), Elyse gave birth to Andrew, and by the fourth season, he had miraculously aged to four years old. He barely had any lines in the series (because he was so young), so even people who remember the show's later years barely even remember there was an Andy Keaton.

On the other hand, I will never forget the episode where Andy competes with Courtney Cox's character for Alex's attention and utters the hilarious line:
"You win."

Little Andy Keaton is 25? Man, I feel old! Never would have recognized him from his mugshot.
Matt, it took me a minute to understand your last sentence...until I sang it, that is. You need to add the sha na na na......at the end.

Thanks, Matt. Now I have an earwig on an endless, repeating loop in my brain.
There's only one sure-fire cure for that:
Schlemeel, schlemazel, hasenfeffer incorporated. We’re gonna do it! Give us any chance, we’ll take it. Give us any rule, we’ll break it. We’re gonna make our dreams come true. Doin’ it our way.

OMG! I can't believe that is cute little Andy! Are those fangs or does he have lip piercings? And he's got a tat on his neck. He bears no resemblance to his TV alter ego.
