Family Matters: Updates on Anna Nicole, Angelina
This is no way to get the tabloids off your back. Although Court TV has reported that a swab test already has been performed on Anna Nicole Smith's 6-month-old, Dannielynn, the deceased's lawyer and the supposed father of the baby, Howard K. Stern, is trying to block the ruling that ordered the test in the first place. Dude, if you're the dad, chill; if you're not, give it up already.
In other parenting news, Angelina Jolie left Hanoi yesterday with more than a lousy T-shirt: She took home her new son, Pax Thien Jolie (né Pham Quang Sang), whom she renamed with the Latin word for "peace" and the Vietnamese word for "sky" or "heaven." 'Cause Bob just didn't have the same ring to it.

You have a point. I never did understand why all the court battling. Just do it and get it over with. But, something tells me Stern is not really sure who's the dad here. I just pray they never give her to her Grandmommy Dearest. Virgie Arthur is one scary lady.
I feel so sorry for that kid. How will she ever know if she's loved for herself?

As for Angelina, I've never understood why people feel it's necessary to change the names of their adopted children. Pham or Pham Quang in not hard to say at all if that's what she's worried about. After all, that has been his name for the past 3 years, the name he learned to recognize as his own. No need to give him a hip/cool name like Pax.

Why would Howard give his DNA when he knows he isn't the father? How will he continue to live off Anna's money if he doesn't continue this charade?

I don't think he gave his DNA. I think they just took DL's and will compare to Larry's DNA.

I too wondered why Angie changed his name. She also changed Zahara's, but Z was a baby. The transition will be hard enough as is without a new name. I hope she at least asked P if he wanted a new name.
