Fall TV Tweaks: House Exec Finds New Life
Per Variety, House executive producer Daniel Sackheim has inked a two-year deal to direct and exec-produce the new NBC drama Life.... Per the Reporter, former ER show-runner Scott Gemmill will run the show at ABC's Women's Murder Club.... Twenty Good Years creator Marsh McCall has been tapped to "direct traffic" at ABC's Carpoolers.

The "Murder Club" series better be good - I love those books. They should make it a spinoff of the movie. Tracy Pollan made a great Lindsay.

What are the odds that any of them will be employed this time next year? The buzz I've heard hasn't made me want to watch any of those. And this is from someone who likes seeing Damian Lewis act in anything.
I saw a clip of Pushing Daisies online and fall can't get here fast enough for that show.

It can't get cancelled fast enough. It is an unbearable pretentious hour of fairie tales and freakshow characters. It'll never stick.
