Fall TV: 90210 Anchors CW's All-New Tuesday
90210 cast (Dustin Milligan, AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Walter, Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, Lori Loughlin, Ryan Eggold, Jessica Stroup and Michael Steger) by Frank Ockenfels/The CW
The CW is the latest network to spill their fall slate, and two nights — Monday (Gossip Tree Hill) and Thursday (Smallnatural) — remain unchanged.
Tuesday will offer some "zip" in the form of 90210, the BH follow-up featuring an occasional drop-by from "guidance counselor" Jennie Garth. Leading out of that is Surviving the Filthy Rich (fka How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls, and starring Reba's JoAnna Garcia).
Wednesday, as usual, kicks off with Top Model, now followed by Stylista, a Devil Wears Prada-esque reality series from Tyra Banks. Everybody Hates Chris and The Game, having lost their Sunday-night home, have been moved to Friday.
Speaking of CW's Sunday... that's "TBA." Media Rights Capital, the firm network "outsourced" the evening to, will announce its offerings (two dramas and two comedies) at a later date.
Reaper will return midseason. — MWM

Matt, do you know why the CW's press release lists Kristin Kreuk as a castmember on Smallville but not Allison Mack?

A Mack seems to be gone, Kreuk will guest star only?, also is Smallville a full 22 episode order?

Is that Darcy from Degrassi in that picture? And Lucille Bluth? Hmm...my interest in this project has increased by 7%.

How long before the new BH writes the brother out of the show? A couple episodes or do you think he actually makes it the entire season. I see shades of him being difficult and sent to live in a French bordering school...a la Brenda.

I've positioned my shield because surely my comments are going to cause some of you to throw sharp object or tomatoes my way BUT ...
The CW is branding itself as the Skank Channel and thus ... Moonlight would not stand a chance here. As it is, I see Smallnatural (nice one, Matt!) having to call it quits next season as more teenage sexamedies take over the CW's airwaves.
Anyone who knows me knows my love for the Brothers Winchesters knows no bounds. A future without them? Say it ain't so and yet ... Kripke always foresaw a 5-season story arc that combined mytharc and stand alones. If the CW continues to kill its sitcoms, invite more hoedown trash to its lineup, then it's safe to say our boys are next.
Which can mean good things for fans, despite missing out on a 5th season. We'll get a tightly written, intense, action- and angst-filled season with very few stand alones in order to tell the full story.
And yes, I HATE HATE HATE CBS for not renewing Moonlight. They are dead to me!

The CW can't promote their own shows so they won't do anything for Moonlight since it was not their show from the beginning. I am happy about Reaper but I am so angry about Moonlight.

Hey maybe CW can pick up Moonlight as one of its 2 one hour dramas, *hint, hint*

I sure wish CW would get 'Moonlight' to fill one of those time-slots! There's over 10 million viewers for that series, and CBS just canned it! They must not appreciate us! CW! Pick us up!

Please CW! We beg you to pick up Moonlight! The fans will follow.

If Moonlight getting about 5 million viewers I can understand why CW WON't pick it up...but if get's about 8 million viewers...I don't see why not (I tried watching Moonlight, never liked it and never will...but if it brings more eyeballs to CW (more specifacally, to GOSSIP GIRL , I'm all for it!).
The thing is CW finally decided they trying to go for the female teen demographic...and Moonlight doesn't really fit that...So it seems unlikely...
