Exclusive First Look: Tricia Helfer as Spider-Man's Black Cat

Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer gets animated this Saturday in a guest role on The CW 'toon The Spectacular Spider-Man (airing at 10 am/ET). In the episode "Persona," Helfer provides the voice of the villainous vixen Black Cat, who Spider-Man must team-up with to stop Chameleon, a master thief who has been pinning his crimes on the web-slinger. In addition to crime-fighting, expect lots of flirtation between Black Cat and Spidey. — Rich Sands

Wow, she looks awful. Who heads up the animation for this show?

I miss the Brian Bendis' Spiderman that aired on MTV. That one was awesome.

Aww... I wanted to see Tricia Helfer dressed as the Black Cat!

And yes, that new show's animation is awful. Somebody bring back Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, please!

It's funny, the drawings are a little cartoonish, but the action scenes are some great animation.

i didnt the animations at first, but its not terrible. The writing and action scenes make up for it ten fold. I really love the show.

The animation is ok, but the writing, action sequences, and voice over work more than makes up for it. This series has had the best first season of any superhero cartoon since the first season of Batman: The Animated Series. And that's no small praise.

I like it! Although she does look a little too skinny?

The animation on this show is fantastic! I think you guys have problems with the style of the design; although the simplified design was chosen to allow for fluid animation, something not present in previous Spidey incarnations.

OMG! Check out Number 6 in the Old 97's new music video for their song "Dance With Me!" It is hilarious! BSG fan kung fu's his way through a nightclub for an autograph from Tricia. Check out the bouncer getting surfed down the stairs!
