Spectacular Spider-Man TM & (C) 2008 Marvel and (C) 2008 Adelaide
Here's your exclusive first look at The Spectacular Spider-Man's Green Goblin. The web-slinger's most notorious nemesis makes his first appearance on the CW's Saturday-morning 'toon in the episode "Catalysts," airing April 26 (at 10 am/ET).

Voicing the character is Steve Blum, a veteran of many video games and cartoons, and the voice star of the upcoming Nicktoons Network series Wolverine and the X-Men. — Rich Sands

The sons are psyched! They have already christened last week's Rhino episode one of their Spectacular favorites.

Oh this cartoon just sucks. Looks like now Spidey's going to fight the Green Monkey.

I guess it's slightly better than Spidey 3D from MTV a few years back.

The new Spider-Man cartoon is pretty cool. I grew up with the '60's version. Didn't really care much for the '90's or MTV version. There are some details that I'll just have to live with, but I really like the new theme song.

Oh the 90s version was definitely the best. The final few eps were out there, but everything that went before was great! Good use of villains, appropriate look, good fights... the whole package. The Amazing Friend will always be my personal fave because, well, they were friends, you see?

Go, go Ms. Lion!

EXACTLY!!! I loved the 90's version! Okay, so Chrisopher Knight Barnes (Spidey/PP) did a wee bit too much talking in the voice overs, but other than that, I LOVED it! Thought it ended in a cheesy way, but it was KEWL to see Stan Lee animated, lol.

I keep trying to like this new cartoon, but I just...can't. I don't know WHY I continue to watch it, week after week. I sure wish Bruce Timm would create another series for me to watch, like Jordan's Green Lantern, more stories on Justice League...What can I say? He's spoiled me for any other show.:-p
