Exclusive: Idol's Chris R.: "J.T. Looks a Lot Like Me"
It's no secret the American Idol judges think Chris Richardson looks and sounds a heckuva lot like one Justin Timberlake. But here's some exclusive scoop: The burgeoning heartthrob has actually met and hung with the ex-NSync singer more than once. Richardson explains that in early 2006, he was writing music in the same Virginia Beach recording studio where J.T. was working on FutureSex/LoveSounds. "We're acquaintances," says the Idol contender. "He's a great guy." So does Richardson see the comparisons? "As a matter of fact," he says, smiling, "He looks a lot like me." — Reporting by Shawna Malcom

Am I the only person out there that thinks that Chris Richardson does not look anything like Justin Timberlake? Personaly I think he looks a more better looking and more talented version of K-fed. Just look at him and you can see the resemblence.

Sounds like Justin--yes. Looks like him? No. I definitely see the K-Fed similarity before the Justin one. I, too, wonder where in hell they got the comparison to Justin. It's a leap for me.

I think he looks like Jus. After all, they're both white males, with short cropped hair who sing.
Anyhoo, the judges said he looked like Just and they're the same folks who put Sanjaya and Antonella in the top 24.

The only reason people ever compare Chris to JT is the hair. He really does not look like him. Or sound like him.
I think Chris is extremely hot. Justin isn't.

I agree with those of you who have said that CR looks/sounds nothing like JT. If anything, CR sounds a lot like Jason Mraz (another Virginia boy!)

Maybe it's more accurate to say he is a JT type? I think Richardson has talent - probably won't win but should do okay any way.

I don't think he looks or sounds like Justin Timberlake and JT doesn't even have that distinct of a voice that he has a specific sound to him. The only way I can recognize a Justin Timberlake song these days is if I hear Timbaland on it first.
He does look a bit more like K-Fed but I wouldn't say he's a dead ringer for him and I wouldn't insult Richardson by even making the comparison. Chris Richardson is hot and that is all I need to know.
