Exclusive: Buffy's Charisma Stakes Apprentice Spot

Donald Trump's The Apprentice just may become must-see TV for fans of the Buffyverse's Cordelia and, well, warm-blooded men in general. Reliable sources tell TVGuide.com that one of my CWPFs, Charisma Carpenter, will be one of the "job applicants" for the upcoming star-studded edition. While some have scoffed at the celebrity twist being applied to the waning reality show, Carpenter very well could give it the zing it needs. "Charisma is ready to make like Alexis Carrington and bring out the claws if need be," an insider tells me. "It should be very interesting."

While neither NBC nor Trump's camp will officially confirm any casting news, Cordy's possible participation, coupled with rumblings that Carmen Electra is also onboard for the venture, has me thinking: "Car-wash task?"

LMAO Matt! That would boost the ratings through the roof.

Probably a stupid question, but what is CWPF?

I don't like Apprentice, but I so love Charisma...

OH WHY does tv do this to me. I can't STAND Trump or his show, but being a die hard Whedon-Verse junkie, I might have to watch this. Plus, she's so great, I'd rather see her on a REAL show, you know with scripts and acting. Stupid reality. Boo hiss.

Okay, sorry, but I just don't get how this celebrity version of "The Apprentice" is going to work. I mean what kind of job are they going after here??? I am having a difficult time imagining any of them doing the type of work that non-celebrities do when they appear on "The Apprentice".

What will the celebs be doing? What is the prize? What is the show's purpose?

If "The Apprentice" has Britney Spears, Paris Hilton,or Lindsay Lohan on it, I will NOT be watching! That's the
"Bottom of the Barrel!" Get some REAL stars that have many accomplishments and many years of actual work!

Isn't Donald Trump one of the Senior Partners at Wolfram & Hart?

My sketchy understanding is the teams will compete in tasks, and when you win each team member's charity-of-choice receives a lump of money that week.

Something like that.

Best line of the week. :-D

But seriously, I'd have thought Charisma would be above this...

I can't believe I'm not only going to be watching The Apprentice, but also the last-gasp, dead-horse version, to boot. Darn you, Charisma! But I'd follow you anywhere (sigh).

OMG!!, lol. I second the "this is the best line of the week" comment, lol. That had me rolling on my chair (and will do as well to any Angel fan that reads it), thanx Bobby Joe

Now i bailed on The Apprentice since Season 2, I'm a diehard wheadonverse fan but PLEASE Charisma don't do this, I also would rather see her in an actual tv show.
