Eva Stands by "Perfect Husband" Amid Affair Buzz
Tony Parker and Eva Longoria by Maury Phillips/WireImage.com
Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria is standing by her man, even as a story makes the rounds that Tony Parker has been "double-dribbling" with a French model he met at his own wedding. In two of several MySpace messages cited by X17Online, Parker allegedly wrote to Paressant, "Are you coming or not? I would love to see you" and "Come; I'm at the Park Hyatt."
Longoria's rep qualifies the allegations as "completely, 100 percent false and untrue," and claims, "This is not the first time [Paressant] has sued an athlete to gain public notoriety."
In response to the gossip, Eva says in a statement to People, "Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband," while Parker himself maintains, "I love my wife... and I have never been happier."

CELEBRITIES ARE ALWAYS TARGETS. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE BLACK MEN. I SUBMIT THE COMPARISON OF ROGER CLEMMONS WITH BARRY BONDS. ONLY RECENTLY HAS CLEMMONS BEEN MENTIONED WITH REGARD TO STEROID USE, YET BONDS HAS BEEN DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE FOR MANY MONTHS IF NOT YEARS. DIFFERENT POSITIONS YET CARREERS THAT HAVE HAD VERY SIMULAR PATHS "SO TO SPEAK." I THINK BONDS MADE A BETTER TARGET BECAUSE HE'S BLACK AS ARE BRYANT & PARKER. TONY PARKER PROBABLY IS THE PERFECT HUSBAND IN MY OPINION, AT LEAST AT THIS POINT IN HIS MARRIAGE. ANYWAY, I WISH THE HAPPY COUPLE WELL.

Notice that he doesn't deny it, he just says that he loves his wife, whom he probably does love. Infidelity on the road is the norm for these men.

I WAS HONESTLY UNAWARE OF THIS RUMOR UNTIL I READ IT IN TV GUIDE. THIS IS A SHORT ARTICLE, WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN DISTILLED FROM AN INTERVIEW IN WHICH HE MAY HAVE DENIED HAVING THE AFFAIR. "I DON'T KNOW." I'M NOT SURE, BUT I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A VERY LIMITED QUOTE OF PARKER, POSSIBLY DESIGNED TO COLTEVATE SUSPISCION. I BRING THIS UP BECAUSE BARBYAZ SPECIFICALLY NOTES A LACK OF DENIAL BY PARKER. I MYSELF, DON'T THINK THIS IS SIGNIFICANT. HEY, CLINTON DENIED IT AND HE WAS LYING. WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?

Is she so naive that she thinks he's different than most guys? Lots of the sports guys caught cheating had smokin' hot wives. I've watched some of them on Oprah, so course it must be true.

Here is the People story with their complete statements. I did not omit any straight-out denial. - MWM

Look at Michael Jordon. He was constantly having affairs while he was married and made no effort to hide it. But his ex-wife was no dummy - she's livin' the good life now!

THANK YOU, MWM. I'M NOT A "PEOPLE" PERSON. HAD YOU NOT GIVEN ME THE LINK TO THE ARTICLE, I PROBABLY WOULDN'T HAVE READ IT UNLESS RE-PUBLISHED SOMEWHERE ELSE. IT'S VERY BRIEF. THOUGH APPARENTLY NOT MALIICIOUSLY EDITTED TO INCRIMINATE PARKER. AGAIN, THERE'S NOT MUCH TO IT. I DON'T THINK IT GIVES MUCH CREDENCE TO THE RUMOR. JUICY AS IT IS, IT PROBABLY ISN'T WORTH DISCUSSING UNTIL WE HEAR MORE. AT LEAST NOT TO ME.

Sorry Dianora & company. There was an incident, my glasses got stolen recently. I can barely read to edit myself. It was easier for me. Don't be offended. Excuse my spelling though. Won't happen again.

Well, I've always believed "where there is smoke...." I'll give the newlyweds the benefit of the doubt, but I think they would be more convincing if they sued this model for slander.

GIMME ME A BREAK!!!
Tony Parker is too much of a gentleman to be fooling with other women behind his wife's back. Eva Longoria is the best person who ever walked into his life and vice versa. They deserve each other and both make a very cute couple. This gossip or rumor needs to be put to rest once and for all.
GOD BLESS YOU BOTH MR. AND MRS. PARKER!!!
P.S. Eva, it was very nice of you to take your husband's last name and to apply it somewhere useful, like in the opening credits of your super TV show. Many women don't do this and I wish some more of them would. It shows that a woman truly loves her man.

Sorry, but that's just archaic. A woman can "truly love her man" while still choosing to go by the name she's had since birth.
