ERiq La Salle Returns to TV a Stranger

Eriq La Salle will play a Relative Stranger in a Hallmark Channel original move slated for a Yuletide bow. The ER alum stars as a man who abandons his wife, kids and extended family, then returns years later when his father dies. He reunites with his estranged brood in the process.

Cicely Tyson has been cast as La Salle's mom, while Michael Beach (Third Watch) plays his brother. — MWM

Michael Beach also played Al Boulet on er for a while, so they are reuniting.

I've missed Eriq La Salle from TV ever since left ER. He hasn't done much, at least not that I've seen, but I think he's a great actor, and I'd love to see more of him. I wish they'd put him in a series though. Come on producers, you're wasting talent here. He has to be a lead in a show though, he can't play second banana to anyone, he's too much of a star in my eyes. He has to have a lead role.
