Engagement for Heather Locklear and David Spade

Straight from the Eye:

"Heather Locklear (Spin City) will guest-star in two episodes of the comedy Rules of Engagement later this season on the CBS television network. In the episodes, Locklear will play Barbara, the sister of Audrey (Megyn Price) who comes to town to visit. During her stay, Barbara announces that her marriage, which Audrey has always idealized, may be over. While Audrey has a difficult time dealing with the news, she is even more surprised to learn that her sister has agreed to go on a date with Russell (played by David Spade)."

The likes of Locklear hooking up with Spade? Only on TV, folks.

Yeah, he all but admitted they were dating on Ellen during one of his many visits. How else do you think they got her on the show? :)

They had been dating after her marriage broke up. But as of late, she has been linked to her former Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner.

That's what I thought Diane. They dated after her marriage broke up, but they aren't dating anymore. Either way should be fun to watch the 2 of them together on screen.

When I heard rumors that they were dating, I couldn't help but wonder how a classy, gorgeous lady like her could possibly be attracted to such an obnoxious, smirking, unfunny jerk like him. I guess there's no accounting for taste.

Only on TV? Don't think so. D & H were seen together more than once after Locklear's 2006 marital breakup. Just friends maybe, but still not "only on TV."

Somehow I think I'd rather see her with a skanky rocker than with David Spade--don't know why. I guess it's because I REALLY don't like him.

Wow! Where's the love for David? I don't have a problem with him at all. He was on one a talk show recently and he actually seems like a pretty nice guy. He self-deprecating and doesn't take himself too seriously. I actually found him charming. I also felt bad for him when he was joking around and said that he never realized how unattractive he was until he started dating Heather and the magazines and tabloids were so kind to point it out to him.

Everyone on here needs to catch up on their entertainment news. Heather Locklear has been dating Jack Wagner for a few months now. She was hanging out with David Spade right after her breakup with Richie Sambora, but Jack's her man now. I'm glad too. Heather and Jack make a nice couple. David Spade always has that type of comedy that's full of sarcasm and I don't like that type at all. He comes across as a wise guy. Jack Wagner seems like a real gentleman. Heather deserves a good guy like that.

I think that it has already been stated that she is dating Jack Wagner. The truth is that she was dating David Spade at one time and that is what we are discussing. Remember we don't know either of these guys really, so they could be very different than we think.

I personally love sarcasm. I find good sarcasm hilarious! I have a feeling that David is a nice guy. I don't think she would have been dating him if he wasn't. Jack Wagner has never been a favorite of mine, but he doesn't have to be. I'm sure that he has many great qualities and that is why Heather is dating him.
