It's a Girl for L&O Alumna Elisabeth Rohm

Former Law & Order actress Elisabeth Röhm gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday.

The baby is the first for Röhm and her fiancé, entrepreneur Ron Wooster, says People. The little one arrived at 6 lbs., 13 oz., and is named Easton August Anthony (which is reportedly a secondary surname for Wooster).

"I've been dreaming about her for the last nine months," Rohm said. "I'm so thrilled she's finally here."

Röhm and Wooster plan to get married this fall — and little Easton might even be ready to crawl down the aisle with some flowers. — Anna Dimond

What's with these people, you have a baby first, then mariage? Hollywood is truly sin city. They should be ashamed to even say they aren't married.

Oh brother! Yeah because only Hollywood folk are having babies out of wedlock.

Anyway, I wanted to make some sort of joke about Rohm's acting but I'll just say congratulations even though they are sinners and going to Hell without passing Go. :-p

Although I do agree with the other posters that it would be nice if these Hollywood parents would marry before their babies are born (especially if they are engaged at the time!), I do want to congratulate Elisabeth Rohm (who will always be Detective Kate Lockley to me). May they be healthy & happy together. And I hope Easton has her mother's beautiful eyes!

Imzadi, thank you for that reference to Ms. Rohm's role in the first season of "Angel"! She was good in that and I was puzzled when they didn't make her a regular. I'm glad there are some people that know her from other than "Law and Order".

SNLfan--Add me to the list. I've never seen Law and Order, but I've seen her on Angel, and it always surprises me when I read other people saying how bad she was, because I think she was very good on Angel.
I guess that misfortuned Law and Order role will follow her everywhere. But we Angel fans know she's not a bad actress.

ITA that Rohm drew way too much flak. Maybe she wasn't a good fit on L&O, but I also loved her work on "Angel," proof that she has real capability as a performer. The sequence when everyone's inhibitions were lowered and she gave that speech to her father about the aftermath of her mother's death -- that was one of the most wrenching things I've ever seen on TV.

And the hatred heaped on her is just out of control. My FIRST thought when I saw this nice news item was, "I guess Matt Roush will even have something ugly to say about this."

I'm another who only knows her as Kate Lockely, and I thought she was very good in that role. When I rewatched Angel from beginning to end last year, I watched her with a more critical eye to see if she was as good as I'd thought she was the first time around, and I just walked away even more confused about all the L&O hatred for her.

Congrats to her and her fiance! They have nothing to be ashamed of (and that's all I'll say to those who think marriage is a requirement for having a wonderful family).

Add my name to those who liked her on Angel. I even thought that she and Angel would have made an interesting couple, both romantically and professionally, even though the former would be a sacrilege according to some Buffy/Angel fans.
