I hope Fast and Furious 4 happens with those 2. I liked the first two films a lot! I just saw them for the first time this summer (and the original on the big screen at a film revival). But I refuse to watch number 3 because even his dopey cameo at the end (which is on youtube) is not enough.

Wow, times are tough, eh? Vin Diesel and Paul Walker coming back to TF&TF? Sad that their careers have stalled out...

And wait... Near Dark without Adrian Pasdar? Say it ain't so! He WAS the movie.

"Entourage's Kevin Dillon has been tapped to play the title character in the 300-spoofing National Lampoon's 301: The Legend of Awesomest Maximus Wallace Leonidas"

That has to be the most moronic name for a movie that I have heard in a long time.

This sounds like it's going to be so bad, Dane Cook should be in it.

That title alone makes me think that this movie will be on the same comedic level as the appallingly wretched "parody" Silence of the Hams, which was filmed in 1994 but not released in the U.S. until 1997, and featured characters named Animal Cannibal Pizza (played by Dom DeLuise!) and Inspector Pete Putrid.

To call that third-grade-level humor would be an insult to third graders everywhere.

On a semi-related topic, when was the last time that anyone with a brain actually wanted to see anything with National Lampoon in the title?

Chappy - The last Lampoon movie I loved was "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

I'd watch it every day if I could...

"Play Ball!"

I finally saw Christmas Vacation a few years ago (long after it came out), and it was pretty good -- almost as good as the first Vacation. I never did see all of European Vacation or Vegas Vacation, but the few scenes that I have seen look bad.

I guess the Vacation movies follow an "odd-numbered are better" pattern -- as opposed to the Star Trek movies' "even-numbered are better" tendency.
