Taye's Break to Air in Full on TV One

Day Break by Craig Sjodin/ABC
TV One has picked up all 13 episodes — including the seven that were never broadcast on television — of the déjà vu-tastic Day Break, one of ABC's many short-lived and underappreciated serialized thrillers from past seasons.

TV One will begin unspooling Det. Hopper's wonderfully odd odyssey Sunday, March 16, at 10 pm/ET, as part of a Taye Diggs-themed weekend promotion. Me, I'm in it for the Moon Bloodgoodness! — MWM

I didn't underappreciate it. I highly admired the depth of which it sucked.

Says someone who probably watched the first half hour, got confused and gave up. Am I close?

"Says someone who probably watched the first half hour, got confused and gave up. Am I close?"

I watched 3 episodes and I thought it blew chunks. And I'll venture a guess and say that the only thing you're getting close to is being dumber by the minute.

Whatever, roxymarie. It got really good. Your loss.

I did get to finish it online and man it was quite a ride. I would love to have known what the producers would have cooked up for a second season.

I saw all 13 episodes online. It was...interesting. Not something I'd interrupt a TV show for, but it wasn't half bad. Better than the majority of shows on nowadays...

One question...

*SPOILERS*

Did they ever explain how/why he time traveled? In the last episode, it was basically "oh, look, you've stopped time traveling! yay!" And then they drop the whole thing. From the network with Lost, that's quite odd.

My husband and I enjoyed this show thoroughly. We were able to stream the final missing episodes when they finally became available on ABC.com. Those who haven't seen them all are in for a terrific ride!

The DVD set hits shelves on March 25th! It will be widescreen with 5.1 sound and no commercials. Best Buy's website has it for $20! I'd rather do that than watch Standard Def full screen cable

Thank you, obriensg1!!! I don't have access to TV One...and besides, it'll be nice to be able to rewatch the episodes...it was confusing to me the episodes that I did watch!!
