Dancing Star Seymour "Better" After Hospital Visit

On Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars results show, host Tom Bergeron cited food poisoning as the reason for Jane Seymour's absence. Indeed, a spokesperson for the beleaguered Brit tells ET that Seymour had been taken to the hospital as a result, leaving pro partner Tony Dovolani to appear solo. Upon surviving this week's cut, Tony tells TV Guide, "I called Jane and I screamed, 'Yeah, baby! We're in it!'" Jane's reaction? "She's really happy," hubby James Keach relayed to Tony, adding that healthwise, "She's doing much better."

I like Jane, I really admire her being able to do all of this (and looking so fab) at age 56. She really didn't do too great on the show this week, though, and really should have been in the bottom two. But having said that, it's not her fault that Sabrina got kicked off the show, and she shouldn't be blamed for it. Whatever the reasons that the votes just weren't there for Sabrina, shouldn't be a reason to blame Jane for the faults of the show.

No kidding. The blog over at DWTS is up to 10 pages the last time I looked. It's approaching Supernatural numbers, which is really saying something.

BTW, there's a link over here where you can purchase her Dance Workout video. How is that fair to the Wayne Newtons and Mark Cubans to have a professional thrown in to compete against? She shouldn't have been there to begin with. Nothing personal, Sabrina.

In amongst the 10 pages of pro Sabrina someone wrote "Edyta picks bad dance songs". How many times have we been told the songs are picked "for" the dancers, not "by" them. A regular blogger/watcher would know this, huh? Sabrina will be fine and has a career already with CD, DVD and a tour.

Having done the food poisoning but a few years ago, my complete sympathy goes to Jane. It's one of those think-you're-gonna-die-and-afraid-you-won't experiences. I am, frankly, surprised that Sabrina was the one to go, though.
