CW Orders Rich Girls Pilot, FCC Makes Inquiry and More
Following the success of Gossip Girl, the CW has greenlit a pilot for another high-society-scrutinizing series, How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls. The series is based on the eponymous book from Zoey Dean.... The FCC has sent a formal inquiry to an Alabama TV station that went black for almost an entire 60 Minutes ep; the show investigated allegations of dirty politics in the state, Variety says.... Top Chef's fourth season, meanwhile, has a diverse array of new sponsors, according to Variety, including Clorox, Verizon, Toyota and Michelob (perfect for basting). Actually "How To Teach..." is written by Zoey Dean, not the Gossip Girl writer, Cecily von Ziegesar. But both are published by the same publisher.
