Crazed Sandra Bullock Fan Is No Miss Congeniality

Talk about a Speed demon. Marcia Diana Valentine of Huntington Beach, California, tried to mow down Sandra Bullock's hubby, Jesse James, with her Mercedes on Sunday after Bullock asked her apparently off-kilter "biggest fan" to leave the couple's home, the AP reports.

After hopping into her car and throwing it into reverse, Valentine, 45, "attempted to hit [James] three or four times," then sped away, says a spokesman for the county sheriff. James was not injured, and Valentine was found and arrested on Monday on charges of assault with a Lake House DVD deadly weapon.

Why was Speed 2 changed to The Lake House?

Too many Speed mentions for my comedy likings.

Understandable.

Though I probably would have gone with Two if by Sea.

Was that last sentence really necessary. This is a story about a deranged woman trying to kill Sandra's husband.I don't think that is anything to joke about.

Totally unnecessary puns being made here, this was a serious incident. Why would anybody want to make a joke about someone almost getting killed by a crazy person stalking an actor? I always remember the Rebecca Schaeffer murder by a so-called "fan" back in 1989, and find nothing funny about any type of similiar incident happening to anyone.

Was this woman a guest in their home, whom they asked to leave?
Thw world seems to be filling up with more and more of these sad & crazy incidents. Fame/celebrity does seem to have a high personal price nowadays.

Well, the "biggest fan" must be a little crazed: why mess up the Mercedes!

And aside from that, I'm not sure I would want to be on the receiving end of a Jesse James fight if she didn't get away. I think the will not hit a woman gentleman's exemption is rescinded when you try to make roadkill of him with a Benz!

Matt -

I have always found your sense of humor enjoyable, but not this time.

That last sentence was totally insensitive and uncalled for.

Put yourself and your family in Sandra and her husband's place. Would you want to read something like that?

This woman was not a guest in their home. She is obsessed with Sandra Bullock, and the couple has found her lying in front of their garage door 3 or 4 times previously. The worst part is she was released on bail after she was charged. Even if there are restraining orders against her, unbalanced people do not stop until they achieve their goal or are put away so that they cannot reach their vicitms.
