Could this casting be any cooler? Courteney Cox is joining the cast of NBC's ABC's Scrubs for a three-episode arc this coming midseason, playing Sacred Heart's new Chief of Medicine.

As reported by EW's Ausiello, Cox's character will "ruffle feathers" in her capacity as Kelso's replacement. — Matt Mitovich

What's up with this whole deal of Tvguide linking to EW, and vice versa? Yes, a certain Mr. Ausiello got a paycheck bump and new stomping grounds, but enough with the love fest. I want competition! Let the hair pulling begin. :^O

So she's going to be their Cuddy? Why not? Cox is their House.

Oh, you ain't seen nothing yet. The mutual admirationfest soon will hit a fun new level. Stay tuned....

PS. Oz just got a new haircut, anyway. Not much to grab anymore.

This is great news...I love CC!! I love Scrubs but after the episodes they aired after the strike, they need a little boost and I am excited to see her feather ruffling character interact with Elliot who IMO is the funniest on the show.

Not to be rude, but seriously:

When does TV Guide plan on getting it's own scoop? Ever since Michael Ausiello left, there hasn't been much scoop that's exclusive? I mean, if you have to credit "EW's Ausiello" with every news tidbit, then someone should realize something's wrong.

Eh, I don't know about about that. Even Ausiello's frenemy at E! credited him with scooping this news. I don't see much wrong with it. They all seem to have a little friendly competition going on.

Eh, if I were to guess, I would say that TVG and EW are joining forces. NBC sued Letterman over taking his "top ten" with him, so I can't imagine that TVG would just LET Ausiello use "Ask Ausiello" without a fight - unless there were something big on the horizon for both.

I've NEVER been to EW's website (until today, thanks for the link, MWM). I wonder how many other Ausholes will find their way there in time?

Scrubs? that's still on??
Aw crap, put her on Gray's and fix her up with Ericka, then shoot her over to House and give those two a pair of boxing gloves...that would be a fun match to see...i'd root for Gregory.
Then put her on a slab in ER's morgue and leave her there. period.

This show is still on the air with first-run episodes?

Am I the only person alive who can't stand this show? I've just never found it funny. I've tried, many times. Everybody loves it, and I keep trying. Nothing. I feel nothing. LOL.

Still, I'm sure Courteney will add something She's funny.

When does TV Guide plan on getting it's own scoop? Ever since Michael Ausiello left, ... blah, blah
~hen0129

Just so you know, Ausiello does the same thing in his Ausiello Files column at EW. To copy/paste directly from one of his blogs:
And as my buddy Mitovich at TVGuide.com is reporting ... blah, blah

So you can all relax now on trying to make MWM out to be an incompetent reporter. People talk and share information all the time. And when they do, they credit their source. ;)
