At First "Completely Devastated," Farrah Now Dealing with Cancer's Return

During a routine three-month checkup, doctors told Farrah Fawcett — deemed cancer-free in February — that they had found a malignant polyp, smaller than a pea. "She was completely devastated at first," friend (and Chasing Farrah producer) Craig Nevius tells People. "And then... as was the case last time, she became much stronger and started dealing with it, and she's beginning to make a plan."

Farrah, who is finalizing treatment options, had not even had the opportunity to tell some loved ones when news got out via the Enquirer. "It is now clear," says Nevius, "that the tabloids are as invasive and malignant as cancer." Worse, no amount of radiation will make them go away.

That's terrible that the tabloids had that in their news before she even had a chance to tell her family.
My best wishes to Farrah for a full & speedy recovery.

I love that quote about the tabloids! It's so true! I haven't even looked at a tabloid cover since Princess Diana died, and I have to say I feel like a better person (that includes trash like People and Us).

Needless to say, I wish Farrah well. I was never an Angels fan, but she will always be "Pretty Girl" in episode two of The Partridge Family for me. :)

As a teenager who had her bathing suit poster on my bedroom wall in the 70's I wish Farrah all the best in her battle with cancer. Keep the Faith Angel.
