Chuck to Get Even More Comical

Chuck fans who can't get enough of the computer nerd and his antics can start flipping the pages of his adventures this June.

The NBC show's comic-book version will follow the unlikely hero in a series of worldwide travels, mishaps, near-death cliff-hangers and more (if you can handle it). The upcoming series will be created by WildStorm, the DC Comics imprint that has also put Supernatural to comic paper. Chuck Bartowski and his cohorts will be available in comic form starting June 11.

Is this the latest trend for hit series of a certain flavor? Would you run out for your own copy of Chuck, the comic book? — Anna Dimond

I like the Chuck series, but I wouldn't buy a comic book. I don't like it that much.

Wasn't it about two years ago that a My Name Is Earl comic book was announced? Now that I would have bought. Unfortunately, it never came to pass. I hope--for Chuck fan's sakes--this isn't just another trial balloon that bursts before it see issue number one.

I love Chuck. But I dont see a need for it in comic book form. It works for shows like Heroes and Buffy.

Guess its just away for the shows to generage more press and more money.

Does it feature Sarah nude?
That's the only way I'd buy it.
Pathetic, huh?
Ha ha, J/K...
I think.

If they just have this for free on their website (like what they did with Heroes), then I'll read it for sure. I would be a bit curious how this show transform onto the comics but probably won't go out of my way to get it.

I look forward to checking it out. The the risk of this turning out to be a crass marketing move is quite apparent. However, if the right creative team is involved, it could be pretty cool. My 13 year-old and I both really enjoy the show, so this might be some good summer reading for us.
