Christina Applegate Series Now Hears a Who?
Sure, make me go and re-edit my new Trivial Matt'rs blog entry. An ABC spokesperson confirms for TVGuide.com that the network's new comedy starring Christina Applegate as an amnesiac party animal is now going by the name Samantha Who?
The (rather awesome) series was originally dubbed Sam I Am — until the estate of Dr. Seuss apparently had something to say (in rhyme, of course) on the matter — and then (briefly) rechristened Samantha Be Good. Perhaps Chuck Berry's peeps got miffed this time?

Won't Seuss's people have something to say about this title too? Whoville, anyone?

Or Pete Townshend?

After reading your review I want to catch this show. Thanks for the heads up. I actually like Samantha Who better than Sam I Am, but I have one question. Will Dr. Who be making an appearance on the show? Are they maybe relatives? Just wondered.

Next up, ABC decides there are too many Sams out there and make the show change Christina's character's name. For some reason, they really like "Horton".

Will the BBC have an issue with this title now saying it sounds too much like Doctor Who?

The person who will really have a problem with the title is Endora. She will think they are stealing her daughter's name.
Also, CSI fans will be upset if they use "Who Are You" as a theme song.

This is just getting pathetic.
Just call it The Christina Applegate Show and be done with it.
