Children of Ho Chi Minh: Angelina to Adopt Again
Angelina Jolie filed papers this week to adopt a child from Vietnam, the director of the country's International Adoption Agency tells the Associated Press. Jolie and her partner/companion/beau/get-married-already Brad Pitt currently have three kids: Maddox, 5, adopted from Cambodia; Zahara, 2, from Ethiopia; and Shiloh, who was born to the couple in May. (It was in the papers, you may recall.)

Maybe they'll be adopting an older kid to help take care of the younger ones.

Maurine I was just thinking the same thing. Or if I were the nanny I would be asking for a big fat raise.

What time exactly do these two have to raise 4 children 5 and under? You love children. Great. Take care of those you have.

Congrats the couple and I find it very humanitarian of them to adopt child from various countries.. I think they should do a reality TV show on them and see how they acutally balance everything

"> If this is true and, no special favors have been granted (ha!), than they would have had to start this adoption process BEFORE Shiloh was born. Slowdown guys, needy children have existed since we were cast out of Eden. Enjoy the three little blessings you already have for a little while, OK?

Glad to hear there are no special favours for any of the celebrities. Anyone else would have to wait years to adopt and they all decide to adopt on Tuesday and have a child on Friday?? Go figure.

I agree, it's kinda sounding like a little much. Instead of collecting charms for a charm bracelet, she's collecting children from each country she visits. I don't mean that in a way that minimizes the children - it's just starting to seem too "easy" for her to keep adding to her "international family."
It's a noble thing to want to give children a better life, but is there not a way she can give financially to families or agencies within that country instead of taking children with her? Or set up her own organization for hands-on involvement? I'm wondering if she is minimizing her own impact in the eyes of the world.
It's not like she's bringing these children into a "normal" life. I'm sure she is able to provide much love and many benefits on one hand, but on the other, these children will spend their entire childhood being hounded by the press.
I know that life with Angelina is better than starving to death, but is adopting the child and taking him home with you the only solution? ....I dunno...Oh well, good luck to all involved.

Plus, how much love and attention are the kids getting? Shiloh was just born last year. Z is a toddler too. They're already outnumbered (kids to parents). Seems a bit much.

I disagree. Clearly Angelina and Brad love there children very much, and seem to be putting them first. Even if she donates tons of money to the orphanage, it's likely that these children are never going to find parents to love them, and Angelina is taking care of that. If she had like... 15 kids or so, I'd agree with you, but there are plenty of families with 4 kids or even more.
