It's official! Rock legend Gene Simmons, boxer Lennox Lewis and Playmate Tiffany Fallon will join 11 others on a celebrity edition of NBC's The Apprentice, which debuts in January. After a tepidly received dalliance with L.A., the series relocates back to New York City, while other changes find the celebs living in separate hotel rooms, and the challenges will be modified. "You won't see any rewards," says executive producer Eden Gaha, who helped choose from a pool of 125 interested celebs. "You won't see [them] going to the Yankees game or drinking champagne, because these people do that all the time."

Instead, the celebrities will compete on behalf of charities, and the winner will not be offered a job with Trump at the end of the program. While most of the participants claim winning is the most important factor, others say it's more about the learning experience. "Business requires tremendous discipline and focus," says Stephen Baldwin. "I hope to hone in on that, develop that muscle, so to speak." — Rob Moynihan

The full contestant lineup:
• Trace Adkins (country music singer)
• Carol Alt (model/actress)
• Stephen Baldwin (The Usual Suspects)
• Nadia Comaneci (Olympic gold-medal gymnast)
• Tiffany Fallon (2005 Playboy Playmate of the Year)
• Jennie Finch (Olympic gold-medal softball player)
• Nely Galan (producer, Telemundo)
• Marilu Henner (Taxi)
• Lennox Lewis (former heavyweight champion)
• Piers Morgan (America's Got Talent)
• Omarosa (Apprentice Season 1 contestant)
• Tito Ortiz (UFC champion)
• Vincent Pastore (The Sopranos)
• Gene Simmons (KISS frontman)

Can you say Garbage?

I'm done with this show. It had a good run and there were some solid winners. This sounds like a major turd. I cannot stomach the idea of watching Omarosa for another 12 weeks...ughhhh. Piers Morgan????? The guy is a major UK Newspaper magnate! Why the hell does he need to appear on this?

The Apprentice:LA should have been the end of this franchise. I hope this tanks big time.

I wasn't going to watch this because I don't like the Apprentice show, but now that Gene Simmons is on it, my hubby and I are tuning in! Now I'm actually looking forward to it.

the fact these people needed their "fame" identified (in parentheses)goes to show how bad this show is going to be. Since when is Omarosa a celebrity?

I totally agree.....Omarosa is a nobody, and I quit watching this show a long time ago.

Oops! one more thing....She may be a celebrity....in her own mind. lol

Omarosa is NOT a celebrity. Being a B does not make you a celebrity! I won't watch Because she's on. I would have otherwise, I love reality TV!!

Just what we need. A bunch of tired celebrities. They'll be doing it without me this year. Celebrities and All-stars shows are poison to me. Thanks Donald, but no thanks!

If Donald Trump considers Omarosa a celebrity, I don't think I will be watching the Apprentice this season. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Can anyone really want to see this group
of people on ANY SHOW? Not one makes me want to watch.

None of these people are actually celebrities with the exception of Lennox Lewis and Gene "I'll do anything for a dollar!" Simmons. Geez, Gene, old age is making you pathetic with this whoring for cash.

Thank god Charisma Carpenter did not do this show as was being reported. This would have been career suicide.

Omarosa makes for good tv in the Producers eyes, that is the ONLY reason she is on there, because she is certainly not a celebrity.

Jumped the Shark!

Wow, this idea for the next Apprentice defines the term ! What a ridiculous proposition ! Just goes to show that Trump only surrounds himself with "yes men". This is a totally laughable prospect. It just cannot make it to TV, it just can't. How embarrassing for everyone involved. Ugh.

Omarosa is a celebrity? I would have thought her 15 minutes would be done by now. But Gene Simmons? Now that's entertainment! I can see him mixing it up with O and putting her delusional self in her place, LOL!
Once again, the television viewer pays the price for the writers' strike. Would this show have actually made it to our TV sets if the strike hadn't happened?

Fourteen reasons, wait, make that 15 (I forgot the comb-over king), to NOT watch this. Why is this show still on the air????? I wish we could have blamed this on the strike, but this was announced back in June (maybe in anticipation????).

Another good reason to turn off the TV and go see a Broadway show. Wait a minute, they're on strike too!

What happened to Carmen Electra and the only reason I planned to watch this season Charisma Carpanter?
