How is Andie MacDowell old enough to play the mother of a college professor? I guess she's in her 50s, but I don't she her as the "having adult children" type.

According to imdb she would have just turned 50. I must say she looks real good for that age, cause I would have guessed she was around 44/45. I guess her character must have had a kid in her very early 20s or he/she was a child prodigy.

I love Catherine O'Hara, so I'll definitely check out the new show. I just hope she gets to bring the crazy sometimes.

Andie McDowell seems like a nice person, but I find her very boring as an actress. The one-line description of the new show bores me.

Amen JennieO. There are few actors duller than McDowell.
