Per the Hollywood Reporter, Damian Lewis (Band of Brothers) has landed the lead in Life, NBC's drama pilot about a former cop who rejoins the force after spending years wrongly imprisoned. Sarah Shahi (The L Word's Carmen) plays his partner.... Benjamin King (Saving Jessica Lynch) is Teri Polo's hubby and the CEO in charge of The Wedding Planners, on David E. Kelley's upcoming Fox series.... Aussie Rachael Carpani (McLeod's Daughters) has joined Janeane Garofalo in CBS' drama pilot about public defenders.
