Casting About: Richard Dreyfuss Takes a Wizard

Richard Dreyfuss is joining Sci Fi Channel's Tin Man, playing a wizard known as Mystic Man, Reuters reports. This leaves the roles of Raw, a wolverine creature, and Cain, a former policeman with a scarred heart, to be cast in the Oz-some miniseries.

Exclusive: Clancy Brown (Lost) will play Rudy Blue, "a fallen baseball idol whose all-star career is overshadowed by sketchy investments and sexual indescretions," on the April 9 episode of FX's The Riches (premiering Mar. 12).

• Big You-know-who has been replaced by... Cliff Clavin. Cheers' John Ratzenberger has claimed Vincent Pastore's spot on Dancing with the Stars, ABC announced on Friday.

Good for John. Did he agree before or after he saw a pic of Edyta? :)

Clancy Brown = most intimidating actor working today. If I ever meet him, I swear there is a very good chance I will lose all control of my bowels.

I love ya, Matt, I really do. But I gotta say... it drives me nuts when y'all (it's not just you) say something like, "Clancy Brown (Lost)" when he was a very minor character in, like, two episodes -- and that role isn't even credited on your own site from the link you provided. So I have to go to IMDB to see why the hell I don't know who this person is when I am a Lostaholic, just to find he's probably most popular for his work in Sponge Bob Square Pants. ?<img border=">

No way! His character was pivotal to Lost...and he's best known for the Shawshank Redemption! At least, among roles where you actually saw him. He really is the bomb for playing Mr. Krabs.
