Casting News: Dermot Mulroney Delivers, and More

Per Variety, Lifetime has tapped Dermot Mulroney and Emily Watson to star in a TV-movie adaptation of the best-selling Kim Edwards novel The Memory Keeper's Daughter (shop Amazon). Set in 1964, the story concerns a doctor who delivers twin babies, but to spare the mother heartache, lies that the one born with Down syndrome didn't survive. Secretly, his nurse raises the child on her own.... Brendan Fehr (Roswell) and Kenneth Choi have joined the ABC Family drama pilot Samurai Girl, the Reporter reports.

That movie sounds sad. I'll have to watch that show on abc family with Brendan Fehr. I loved him on roswell.

Matt, on a more important point, can you tell your friends in advertising to cool it with the Phenomenon ad! It's popping up all over the place and we can't read your posts!

copster, if you are using firefox, if you install the stop autoplay add-on, you don't get anymore popups or video ads on any site. It's AWESOME!! And if for some reason you want to see the ad, you just click on the play button and it'll play.

And I was very annoyed watching heroes last night and that stupid phenomenon ad covering HALF of my screen. I don't want to see your stupid ad I wanna watch heroes! X-(
