I'm so glad that John is a regular on bones! I really liked him last week and I loved him on Freaks and Geeks and missed Kitchen Confidential. If I remember correctly, it was up against how i met your mother. Both shows had a freaks and geeks cast member and a buffy cast member, but mother won out because it also had doogie howser.

I've since bought the kitchen confidential dvds, but haven't had time to watch them yet.

Oh yuck. Bring back Jonathon Adams and Stephan Fry! I tolerated Tamara Taylor's contrived casting because she's such a good actress, but she's been reduced to 5-lines an episode. Last week's counseling sessions were painful to watch (not in the good way)...and now it appears they're going to extend that? What a mistake. And to think they let Adams go because they didn't think they could involve him in enough cases....

Fantastic casting for Bones. I love the therapist angle for Bones and Booth. More chances for them to snipe at each other. I like the dynamic between the two of them far more than the cases she solves. And I loved JFD in Freaks and Geeks and Kitchen Confidential!

A series regular? Are you kidding me? Although the scenes with him were pretty funny, you can't tell me that it's worth making him a series regular. Unless you're telling me that the team will always be in need of a shrink which would be pretty stupid. How long did it take for them to make Tamara Taylor a regular?

Wasn't she a regular from the start of the 2nd season?

Great news about John Francis Daley! He seemed to be more than just a guest character when he first appeared on Bones. He felt written as a recurring character. He fits like a glove on this show!

He was terrible. The character was terrible. His performance was boring. Why do they have to mess with what's working on this show??

Death to Cam.

For me Stephen Fry is the only therapist for Bones. Although I understand that he may be 1) too expensive a 2) unavailable to do the episodes they want him too, I can't say I like this new guy. Seriously, if Booth wants to shoot him, I'm okay with that.

And I'm okay with the Cam character. Ten minutes a week, I can deal with.

Tamara Taylor's contrived casting because she's such a good actress

Wow, I never thought I'd see "Tamara Taylor" and "good actress" in the same sentence without the words 'is not a' in between. Everything I've seen her in she's been as stiff as a steel beam. She's probably the worst actress on series television today. I don't think I've never seen her display emotion, at least not emotion that didn't look painfully forced. I watch the show despite her, because the rest of the cast is so great.

As for this new series regular, I have one question, why? I don't see the purpose because I think the Booth and Bones in therapy thing will get old after a while.

If giving up Stephen Fry means there's is even a remote chance of him ending up on House, I guess it's almost a fair trade.

The "plot line" with that therapist is one of the cheapest excuses for a plot in the whole repertoire of cheap plots, and it's BORING... I love Bones but I won't keep watching that stupid plot line over and over.

I really enjoyed his scenes with Booth and Brennan and I'm happy that he's now a regular! :^O

I loved John Francis Daley in Freeks and Geeks, such a cutie, now he is only a little more grown up. I personally don't see how a psychiastrist can be integrated into the show as a "regular" every week, but I am willing to give him a try -- at least 2-3 episodes before I start ragging on the poor guy!

I really liked his first episode, I'm glad to hear he'll be back! I wonder if he'll ever end up punching Booth for ridiculing his age, I know I was getting frustrated for him.
