Busy Busy Philipps Checks Out of the ER

Sure, you can catch her soon on How I Met Your Mother (as Ausiello reported), but sorry, fans of Busy Philipps on ER, this season's second episode could very well be her last. That's when her do-good-doc character Hope leaves for South America to fulfill her Christian mission — you know, as in faith, Hope and charity. "But the door is not closed for a return," NBC sources tell TV Guide.com. "She greatly enjoyed her character and we enjoyed her. She's a lot of fun."

Unfortunately, viewers can probably expect her sex slave, Dr. Morris (Scott Grimes), to be even more annoying than usual when she dumps him for, you know... God. — Reporting by Ileane Rudolph

That is not good! The only time I have been able to stand Morris is when he was hooking up with her! Maybe he will go to South America with her!

That's too bad, I actually liked in a goofy way. She was good for Morris too. Hopefully she'll come back. :)

Hopefully after this year there won't be a show to come back to. It's sort of useless to mourn or celebrate the comings and goings on a sinking ship.

That's disappointing news. I was hoping Busy Philipps would stay on the show when it was announced that she'd be on "How I Met Your Mother". I really enjoy her as Hope, and she & Morris make a very entertaining pair!

And to ESunshine80:

Boy, have you got it wrong. "ER"'s season last year was perhaps the best it has ever had.

First of all, I completely agree with GarryB, in fact I think the last two seasons have been great. Also, I am sorry to see Hope go. I enjoyed her and Morris together so much. I hope she comes back before the end of the season.

...I like Dr. Morris; I don't find him annoying at all! and I agree, ER's 2 last seasons have been the best and, if Grey's Anatomy and ER air their new seasons on the same night, I'll be watching ER, and Grey's during commercials...
