Brothers & Sisters Shows Some Dharma Initiative
Sure, Episode 3 of the Ausiello Report vodcast (as well as Mike's fresh TV Guide column) scooped that Jenna Elfman would be guesting on ABC's Brothers & Sisters. But wait, there's more: Dharma's own mom-in-law, Susan Sullivan, will appear in the same April 15 episode, playing... the mother of Elfman's character.
Sullivan and Elfman will play Miranda Jones and pregnant Lizzie Jones-Baker, respectively, two members of the Walkers' lifelong nemesis family, as the two clans match wits in a night of board games. And here we thought Kitty was Clue-less.
UPDATE: Speaking of hit ABC serials, Ausiello has exclusive, breaking scoop regarding the Grey's Anatomy spinoff. Check it out.

Not that I'm a Dharma aficionado, but didn't Susan Sullivan play Dharma's mother-in-law, not her mom?

Matt, actually Susan Sullivan played Greg's mom, not Dharma's.
That episode sounds fun. I'm anxious to hear who'll play other members of the rival family.

Jen is right. It was Mimi Kennedy who played Dharma's mom. Still a fun reunion, though.

Not to nitpick too much - but Susan Sullivan played Kitty Montgomery - Dharma's mother in law, Mimi Kennedy played her mother, Abby on the show

Wow, you always got to be on your toes, Matt, I guess a lot of people know their Dharma and Greg. I wouldn't be one of those. When I first saw the title, I thought it had something to do with Lost!
I'm with you, Chappy, this sounds like a fun idea and I can't wait to see it played out and see the other family members. Too bad there aren't any single members of the Walker clan anymore (I'm not counting Justin as single as he's "committed" to his recovery) to have a Romeo and Juliet type love affair with the Joneses.

Try on my updated title, kiddo!

Is the Jones clan also going to be sans patriarch?
I'm hoping for the best - I have to admit introducing a "nemesis family" has Jump the Shark.com potential written all over it, but if anyone can pull it off, it's Greg Berlanti.

That's a great idea! They ought to try that somewhere down the road, if not in this episode...
You know, this news makes me wish they'd bring back Meredith Baxter and Robert Foxworth's characters.
This show is big on reuniting actors who have worked together before -- Sullivan/Elfman, Ron Rifkin/Balthazar Getty/Patricia Wettig (from Alias), Foxworth/Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under), Calista Flockhart/Josh Hopkins (Ally McBeal). Any others I'm missing?
Finally, I think I read somewhere that Margot Kidder is returning for another episode. That's good.

They probably became the nemesis of the Walker clan when Elfman's character started yelling "What crimes have you committed?" and "Have you raped a baby?" at them.

Foxworth and Sullivan were husband and wife Chase and Maggie Gioberti on Falcon Crest in the early '80s and from Berlanti's own Everwood (wish that show was still on the air) Treat Williams and Emily Van Camp. Since I don't watch the show, I don't know if any of the above had any scenes together in this new hit ABC series. My bad if none of them did.

Oooh, good! I missed those.
I guess technically those former co-stars haven't appeared together (yet) -- Foxworth and Williams haven't been seen in a while -- but still, I think it's worth noting them. Good job.
I suspect Williams will pop up again -- maybe right around the time Nora gets involved with her professor (Peter Coyote)? -- so there's a good chance he will be reunited with Van Camp.
