Brooke Shields' New Hubby, Swayze's Beastly Role

Paul Blackthorne (The Dresden Files) has replaced Chris Wiehl (Love Monkey) as Brooke Shields' husband on the NBC midseason drama Lipstick Jungle.... Also per the Reporter, Patrick Swayze has been tapped to topline The Beast, A&E Network's drama pilot about a veteran FBI agent who trains a new partner (Travis Fimmel) in his psychologically clever style while being pursued by an Internal Affairs team and being subjected to Dr. Houseman's rhetoric.

I heart Paul Blackthorne, but I can't STAND Brooke Shields... what's a girl to do? I'll watch, but in protest...

Wow Paul Blackthorne news and Patrick Swayze news in the same space? It can't get much better than that. Two shows I now look forward to.

I absolutely LOVE Paul. I'm really happy to see that he'll be on yet another show. I had complained that 9 episodes on Big Shots weren’t nearly enough-- especially now since he's had 5 scenes and a total of 6 minutes screen time in 2 weeks.

I've been following his career since 24 and am crazy about The Dresden Files. Although he seems to have his hands full, we're not giving up on resurrecting Harry and Bob (see www.dresdencity.org).

MORE Paul Blackthorne - EXCELLENT!!! Mr. Blackthorne is SUCH a talented actor! It doesn't matter WHAT type of character he plays, they're all unique and fantastic!

That's why we want him back on the Dresden Files!!! For the FIRST time in the U.S. since the end of Season 1, Sci-Fi is FINALLY showing repeats of the series: 11/9 & 11/16!!!

I am very happy that we are still going to be able to see Paul Blackthorne on t.v. he is a great actor and can play any part well. Having said that; to me he will always be Harry Dresden and I'm still hoping that they bring his show back.

I'm so pleased that Paul Blackthorne has another gig, and that we'll be seeing more of him. However, he'll always be Harry Dresden to me. SciFi is finally going to show some reruns of The Dresden Files on Fridays in November and December. How I wish they would bring it back!
