How about having Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick take on the Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx roles respectively in the stage version of 'Dreamgirls'? I can see Nathan Lane tearing it up as James "Thunder" Early. And if Matthew Broderick can rechannel his inner "Ferris Bueller" then he shouldn't have a problem taking on the scheming, manipulative role of Jamie Foxx's "Curtis Taylor". I smell a 'Tony'.
