Britney Update: Visitation Still Denied

It's officially official, again: Britney Spears will still not be able to visit her two young sons, despite an emergency hearing today in which she tried to regain rights to see them. Brit made a quick courthouse appearance, People reports, but left before the proceedings began.

Previously in Spears' ongoing custody saga, the 26-year-old star lost visitation rights after her standoff with police and overnight hospitalization several weeks ago. At a custody hearing last week, Spears left the downtown Los Angeles courthouse soon after arriving.

It's tough watching Britney battle it out for her kids; her best bet might be to take care of herself first. What's your take? — Anna Dimond

At least the decision makers in this case are making their decision on the best interests of the children.

Is it normal to be able to get so many court hearings? And so often too? It seems that when she doesn't like a decision, a few days later another hearing is scheduled to try and change things. And why does this constitute an "emergency"? She doesn't have the respect to even show up for many of them, show up on time for others, and stay for any substantial length of time for the few. I can't believe the courts are allowing such disrespect for their time and their decisions.

NotMe, exactly! How many chances will she get before the judge's decision is considered final? IMO, her actions (as you described) do not represent a sincere desire to regain visitation rights. Her lack of respect is unbelievable.

Sometimes I wonder if she keeps fighting only b/c she's mad that someone had the audacity to say "no" to her.

Looks like maybe Britney needs to have her case switched to the same judge Denise Richards used.

Seriously!!!!! You guys really need to create a separate Britney news section on this site if you're going to post Britney stories on a daily basis. Call it "Today in Britneyland" or something.

Britney needs to go away for a very long time, away from hollywood and anyone she knows. She surrounds herself with enablers, her choice in men is awful, let's just go after the ones that are married and her kids are better off without her right now. She is disturbed and her kids don't need to be around it. She doesn't love herself, how is she going to love someone else and someone who needs constant attention. It's sad but Britney needs to decide for herself that she wants help. Her attempts to get her children back have been lame at best. In my opinion she wants to die.
