In the ongoing saga of Britney Spears' personal affairs, the hearings keep cropping up. In the latest of them on Tuesday, Spears was not granted visitation rights to see her young sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. She has not seen them for a month and half.

According to TMZ, lawyers on the case could not agree to the terms of the visitation, despite Kevin Federline's and Jamie Spears' hopes that the pop star might regain her right to see her kids. In the meantime, Spears' former lawyers, Trope and Trope, are out, and Stacy Phillips is in. Also on Tuesday, a gag order request on Britney news was denied, which was likely met with the roaring sighs of relief from paparazzi across Los Angeles. — Anna Dimond

They should put restraining orders on all the idiots in the paparazzi that are always climbing all over her car, and impede the forward progress of the vehicle. Too bad it is against the law to just run them down! :)

If she could have roused her lazy neglectful behind out of bed a couple of months ago and made it to her custody hearing she might not have had to go so long without seeing the kids she claims to be so concerned about.

Don't be so hard on someone who is mentally ill. They suffer terribly, and their own mind is a prison. May God help her.

*Sigh* I just don't know anymore. I really don't like to see anyone's life fall apart, and I really do hope she gets the help she needs. She is a human being after all and while I despise her for things she has done, I really do wish her well.

When you're bi-polar, your lows are like people who have chronic depression, and sometimes you DON'T get out of bed until you swing back around to your manic high. It doesn't make bi-polar people lazy.

Has any of her behavior been attributed to severe post-partum depression? I just don't remember her being like this (her choices in men, questionnable, but not self-destructive) until after her second child was born, Then it seems all hell broke lose in rapid sucession. Just a thought.....

Drowning your children one by one in a bathtub and chasing the last one around the house for almost a half hour because he knows what you are about to do is a manifestation of mental illness. Going out to clubs on a near nightly basis when you have two recently born children to take care of is a sign of selfish brattiness.

Maybe she's just a spoiled, self-involved bad person. And if she is mentally ill then having her guardianship of the children taken away at most or monitored at the very least seems like the appropriate action to take before she turns into another Susan Smith or Andrea yates.
