Will Britney Hook Up with Jessica Simpson's Pop?
Having recently jettisoned Larry Rudolph, the manager who strong-armed her into rehab, Britney Spears could next find herself under the guidance of Joe Simpson, dad to fellow blonde popsters Jessica and Ashlee. Sources tell the New York Daily News that Joe is hot to help salvage Brit's barely there career and even tried to confab with her this past weekend, and that Jessica is not only OK with the arrangement, but offered to dial Brit's digits on his behalf. (Alas, Jess got all hung up on the "Do I dial 1 plus area code?" thing.)

SOMEbody's gotta be her dad. If she doesn't like the one she already has, at least she's willing to hire a new one to take his place. Who knows, perhaps he'll be able to make a difference.
Besides, Joe is 1-for-2 now. Maybe he can get a best 2-outta-3 by taking on Britney's career.

I'm concerned...is she still talented? Well, I think this is Joe's attempt to give Jessica's career a boost while having full control of Brittany's career, smart move on his part.

Please, I've heard better one-sided comments from a fart. You all need to give it up. She's trying to start over, and you all still trying to bring her down by calling her names and belittling her like a bunch of high school girls. She made a mistake. Have you all made a mistake before, or are you all too perfect to make one. She's trying to grow up and be a better person, can you all do the same?

I'm willing to bet that the next comment will be just as stupid and unecessary. Please do not waste your time.

I had hoped that Britney really wanted to FINALLY grow up, but was proven wrong by the video they showed on Access Hollywood or one of those shows where she was shown saying how she really wasn't drinking and partying all the time, how she didn't need to go to rehab, and for some reason all of a sudden talks like a valley girl??? Is that what rehab does?? She will never get better until she can admit that she has a problem. She fired her manager because he was the one that made her go to rehab. That just proves she is still messed up. She should have been on her knees thanking him, not firing him. And if Joe Simpson is in charge of her career, we can look forward to her bombing before she even gets out of the gate.

Well I believe in second chances, and she deserves one. And the valley girl thing? She was mocking everybody that doubted her (and still do), and she was saying quotes from the movie Saved! So in the end, who knows what'll happen next. She'll probably be the one getting the last laugh.
