The two-person "justice league" of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are executive-producing for HBO a drama series that will explore the behind-the scenes politics of an international aid organization and chronicle the lives of the humanitarian workers assigned to dangerous areas of the globe, says the Hollywood Reporter. Scott Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum) will pen the script.

The as-yet-untitled series has been a passion project for Jolie ever since she starred in Beyond Borders. It marks her first HBO enterprise since winning a Golden Globe 10 years ago for bedding Elizabeth Mitchell in Gia.

WHO CARES??!!!!

If it doesn't have sex, greed, more sex and more greed, violence, and yes sex - it's not going to be a hit.

Hmm. Depends on how they do this, but I could see it becoming a sort of M*A*S*H for the modern ages. Aid workers aren't so altruistic that they forego sex. They certainly end up in more than their share of violence. It appears greed might not be in it, but surely that can be worked around.?<img border=">

Maybe they are aid workers who each discover they possess a superhuman ability...?

Who cares is right! She's screwed up and I'm guessing he may be too. Guilty by association, etc. This is one time Trump hit the nail on the head.

This gives me hope! Since HBO gave this snooozer the greenlight, maybe my pilot about 411 operators will finally get picked up!;)

Wow, I've never seen such hostile reactions to an announced pilot order. You guys are dismissing it as garbage already? Come on, it's possible for a good show to be made about any possible subject.

Seriously, though, have you ever been a 411 operator. The calls they get are hillarious. It would be like taxi cab confessions.

I think we need a little more goodness on tv. Kids shouldn't grow up thinking that if someone doesn't get murdered in a particuarlly gruesome fashion, it's not interesting.

GREAT! We should have more shows like this to acknowledge other individuals that have made tremendous contributions to help others in this world. We have many shows that always pretain to Sex and that doesn't help the world it destroys it. And for the idiots out there who say they don't care; you should because if the tables were and no one cared about you how would you feel? Have compassion for those who don't have anything in this world. And BTW Sex doesn't solve the problems of the world, it adds to it.

Good point Diva. I can flip to any pay channel and see sex and criminals. It would be nice to have something on TV about some people with some redeeming qualities for once.
