Who knew having a kid could relaunch a dead career?

Based on "Achey Breaky Heart" I never really liked Billy Ray. Then I saw him and his daughter on The Tonight Show the other night. He seemed like a really nice guy and he won me over...as long as he doesn't make any ore records like "Achey".) She, on the otherhand, seemed unbelievably self-centered (even for someone in showbiz) and completely obnoxious. made britney seem like a charmer.

It's a shame that Billy Ray is only known for singing "Achy Breaky Heart", because he has had some really fantastic songs. "Some Gave All" comes to mind. Also, he definately did not have a "dead career". He was and is still very well-known throughout the country circuit for his own talents. He just wasn't in the spotlight anymore until his daughter came around. So now people who don't know him think that he's riding his daughter's coattails. But that is not the case. He was doing just fine before this.

This news gives me a reason to not watch this season. There is just something about him that I have never liked. They never should have gotten rid of Nancy O as a host, it has been horrible ever since.
