Bee Outbuzzes Gangster at Box Office

Bee Movie and American Gangster traded places in their second week of release, as DreamWorks' animated offering topped the weekend box office with $26 million. Gangster drew $24.3 mil.

Rounding out the top five were Fred Claus (opening with $19.2 million), Lions for Lambs (debuting with $6.7 mil) and Dan in Real Life ($5.9 mil). The only other major new release, P2, came in eighth with P2.2 million dollars.

The promos for Lions for Lambs made it look like a dull movie so if accuracy was what the promoters were looking for, they nailed it. It was just a bunch of people talking and talking and talking never learning the art of shutting up.

why the slamming on tom, he's a pretty good actor, you can't expect that type of movie to do huge numbers. And Tom will continue to do movies, he runs his own movie studio now, i don't think he will fire himself?
