Battlestar's Big Exit: "They Wanted Her Out of the Way"
SPOILER ALERT for those Rob Lowe-aholics who have not yet watched Sunday night's episode of BSG....
She had it coming. Battlestar Galactica's D'Anna Biers, the bossy, rule-busting Cylon played by Lucy Lawless, has been terminated. But the deed wasn't done by her human enemies — it was by her fellow Cylons, who "boxed" hundreds of D'Annas into a container the size of an iPod Nano and put it into permanent cold storage. "D'Anna shattered their peaceful little lives," Lawless says. "By discovering that knowledge is power, she had become their Saddam Hussein, and they wanted her out of the way." D'Anna, who had defied the Cylon collective with her messianic convictions, believed that she could make a personal connection with God by repeatedly allowing herself to be killed and resurrected. Her quest took her far: She was ultimately able to look into the faces of the final five Cylon models, whom no one else on the show — or in the audience — has seen.
What's next for Lawless? For more on this story, pick up the Jan. 29 issue of TV Guide. — Reporting by Michael Logan

Rob Lowe is on Brothers and Sisters, which is on opposite BSG.

I knew Lucy Lawless wasn't going to be on the show long, but I definitely didn't expect her to be gone already
Well, maybe one of the final five models is her twin sister or something lol

OK - so let the guessing begin - which prominent character was she talking to (of the Final Five)?????
She said (guestimate): "I'm sorry. I had no idea....."
Could it be the President?????

I am guessing Callie is a cylon - D'Anna would have to apoligize for sending her to her death with a shooting squad, and since Callie already has a child with a human, she would be ideal.

Whoever D'Anna saw, it was definitely someone she previously knew as a human, because she recognized who it was in total surprise. The surprise negates it being Gaius Baltar, though he could still be one of the final five. Personally, I think it may be Kara "Starbuck" Thrace because of her prescience of the Eye of Jupiter and her all around demeanor and ability to not only match the Cylons' flying abilities but to fly a Raider herself. If she is a Cylon, she is really going to hate her life, and that makes it even more dramatically interesting. Also, remember that Leoben identified Bill Adama as a Cylon, so that thread may still be hanging.

Remember on the series beginning (mini-series), Adama went down into the bunker that had iron or some other metal and the cylon reacted with it and died. It was one way to kill cylons. If Adama was one then he would have killed himself as well.
I think one of the cylons could be Chief. Or even Helo. I don't think Baltar is cylon-he's just straight up a spineless man, siding with whoever can help him at the time.

My guess is either the President or Captain Adama is the last mystery cylon (that D'Anna apologized to).

My guess is that it's Starbuck. Why else would she have predicted the Eye of Jupiter so long ago? Also, isn't Katee Sackhoff leaving the show?
